An Intercessory Ministry
"Then join hand in hand, brave Americans all! By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall!" The Liberty Song by John Dickinson "A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart." Ecclesiastes 4:12 God gave me a vision: I saw the world globe with grid lines. Where the lines of the grid connected, I saw hearts. God explained that the grid lines represent a fishing net and the hearts represent the hearts of the intercessors. As intercessors who carry God's heart connect in prayer, whether in person or over the phone, they are creating a large fishing net that God will use to bring in a mighty harvest of souls. It is a world mission. Jesus prayed to the Father, "As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world...so that the world may believe that You sent Me" (John 17:18, 21). I have been incredibly blessed to have met many intercessors from around the globe right here in America. They truly carry the heart of God. Their lives are completely surrendered to Him, and if He tells them to drop everything and drive 3 states away to pray with another intercessor, they say "Yes Lord." I've met 3 other nameless and faceless ones whom God told to go to all 50 states and they obeyed Him without hesitation. As these laid-down lovers of Jesus are sent, God connects them with other intercessors. As their hearts connect, God is weaving a great fishing net. He also accomplishes this when intercessors join prayer calls over the phone. When we come together in prayer we are "of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose" (Philippians 2:2). God is weaving a fishing net over each nation, which is part of a net that covers the entire globe. Jesus is coming back for one Bride, who is one Body. Before He ascended to be with the Father He prayed, "The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity" (John 17:22-23). One of the founding fathers in America, John Dickinson, shared Jesus' heart for unity when he wrote this verse in the song entitled The Liberty Song, "Then join hand in hand, brave Americans all! By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall!" There is strength when people unite. Let us heed the wisdom of King Solomon, the wisest king of all, who wrote "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion...If two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart" (Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12). DECREE I decree God is uniting the body of Christ and binding us together as a three-ply cord, causing us to be one in Him, just as the Father, Son, and Spirit are one.
