Prayer for Rhode Island

Lord, send a tsunami wave of Your Spirit to RI. Have mercy on us and forgive us our sins. Release Your all consuming fire until RI is like a burning bush, on fire for You. Restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Give to RI a new heart and put a new spirit within "her." Wash her clean with the Blood of Jesus Christ. Make her as a pure and spotless Bride, prepared for the marriage with her Bridegroom Jesus. Lord, give to RI the gift of salvation today!

Joel 2:28; Luke 11:4; Hebrews 12:29; Malachi 4:6; 1 John 1:7; Revelation 19:7-8; 2 Corinthians 6;2

AWAKENING

To see a Great Awakening,
Believed by those who pray,
It may seem impossible,
To believe for such a day.

A great work of revival,
Is happening in small groups,
From a praying remnant,
Intercessory army troops.

The warriors move stealthily,
Behind the scenes they war,
Praying prayers secretly,
For Holy Spirit’s outpour.

The LORD hears all the cries,
He sees the tears that fall.
His eyes are on the hidden ones,
Those watchmen on the wall.

God sees the few and faithful,
The righteous believing ones,
Those who trust His promises,
His beloved daughters and sons.

Think of little man David,
Who bravely went to fight,
With five smooth stones,
And the giant he did smite.

David loved his God,
And was equipped within,
With supernatural power,
To bravely advance and win.

You may be the weakest clan,
The least in your family line,
But with your God you’re mighty,
Filled with power divine.

God says, “Little Rhody,
How about you?
Do you believe that I will do,
Mighty things through little you?"

 Take courage and keep trusting,
Knowing His heart is the goal,
You have His full attention,
Jesus, the anchor of your soul.

LORD Jesus receives all honor,
For God’s Awakening story,
Causing sleepers to arise,
And reveal the King of Glory.

As Jesus is lifted high,
May all who see Him bow,
And declare with all their hearts,
That Awakening is NOW!
