 Photo Credit: Screenshot-Awakening Music "River" video “Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the main street of the city.” Revelation 22:1-2 October 13, 2025 Dream: I saw a wide river, whose color was a beautiful blue, but it was also transparent. I was floating in the river, and there were others also floating nearby. Then the river began to flow downward, and we ended up at a waterfall. In the next scene I was hovering over the top of the waterfall. It was a HUGE waterfall. It was very wide and it was very deep. End. My interpretation: There are people, including myself, who are in the river of God…living lives in the water of the Holy Spirit. The river was blue, which represents the supernatural; heavenly. But it was also transparent, which symbolizes that it was clean and pure. In Revelation 22, we read that the river was “clear as crystal” (Revelation 22:1). The waterfall is a move of God—of the Holy Spirit. God is going to bring us to a place where we will suddenly be in over our heads, deeply emerged in the water of the Holy Spirit, having lost all control…but He will be in control so there’s no need to fear. The river and the waterfall were wide, meaning there is room for the multitudes. The waterfall was deep, meaning people are going to go deep in their relationship with God. January 1, 2026 I woke up and felt God lead me to a song I had never heard before, entitled “Waterfall” by Charity Gayle. While listening, I fell into a travail. Some lyrics… “I heard of a river flowing from heaven and all who are thirsty would thirst no more…Here at the waterfall I stand in awe under the Rock where mercy reigns…Everything lives where the river flows. I come alive. I heard of a river out of the mountain where healing and pardon are pouring out. I’m over my head in a sea of forgiveness.” The last line made me think of a verse in Ezekiel 47, which is a chapter that uses the analogy of a river. “He measured off another thousand; it was now a river over my head” (Ezekiel 47:5 TPT). January 5, 2026 I felt led to share my dream on the New England Alliance prayer call. Following, Julie K. said that God spoke a verse to her right before she came on the call, “Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls. All Your breakers and Your waves have passed over me” (Psalm 42:7). Gregg Healey responded with this statement, “We are going to go deeper than we’ve ever been before.” I love the commentary on this verse by BibleHub, "Psalm 42:7 paints a vivid picture of soul-depth crying out to God’s depth, the thunder of His sovereign activity, and the overwhelming waves He allows. The verse reassures us that every surge, every roar, and every deep place is under His control, drawing us closer to the One whose love is deeper still." June 9, 2026 I awoke and went to YouTube to play worship music. The very first song suggested by the app had the word RIVER in bold yellow caps so I decided to give the song a try. The song is entitled "River" by Awakening Music and was published 4 days earlier. The video shows live recorded images of a giant waterfall flowing swiftly. It’s lyrics: “God send a river, a mighty river. We wanna be overtaken by the Holy Spirit. We can feel it, already see it—the move of God. We’re joining in. We don’t wanna be ankle deep. We wanna jump right in.” The last line is referencing a verse from Ezekiel 47, “When the man went out toward the east with a line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he led me through the water, water reaching the ankles” (Ezekiel 47:3). About 2 hours after playing the River song, I went on my daily prayer walk. The places where I walk change…different towns, roads, dirt paths. Today I just happened to walk over a bridge that had a small waterfall. I did not plan ahead to go to this location because of the song. When I came upon it, I felt led to stop and sit down. I just stared at it and prayed, “Lord, when are we going over the waterfall? Is it now? When are we going to be over our heads?” I didn’t receive an answer. As I prayed throughout the morning, I had different images in my mind of people standing in the rain; playing in the rain; happily getting soaked to the bone.  Photo Credit: Holly Otten-Waterfall on prayer walk At noon I joined a Zoom meeting with the Together Advance the Gospel ministry, and there came a time when Ed Pichette asked the group to be still and quiet so we can hear what the Lord is saying. During those few minutes, I felt God prompt me to share about my waterfall dream and so I did. Following, both Ed and Mike Valdes shared things that they have heard which are of a similar message. I feel that this word is for our state of Rhode Island and also for our region of New England. “Wherever the river flows, all living creatures will live and thrive. Schools of fish will be very plentiful, for wherever the river goes, it brings healing, and everything will come alive! Fishermen will crowd its banks and spread their nets from En-Gedi to En-Eglaim. They will catch as many species of fish as there are in the Great Sea…Along both banks of the river, every kind of fruit tree will flourish. And their leaves will never wither, and abundant fruit will always be on their branches. Each month they will bear a fresh crop of fruit because this life-giving water comes from inside the sanctuary. Photo Credit: Prophetic image of the Spirit and the Bride by Debbie Clark  Photo Credit: Dobson Policy & Culture Center Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving National Mall, Washington, DC May 17, 2026 There was a remnant, an estimation of over 100,000 Christ-followers¹ who left their families, their jobs, their daily responsibilities, to travel across the nation on their own dime, to humble themselves before God and to pray for an entire day on behalf of the American people. I can’t help but think of the moment when Abraham interceded on behalf of the sin-riddled city of Sodom. “Abraham approached and said, ‘Will You indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked?” … “So the Lord said, ‘If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the entire place on their account.’”² I truly believe that God is pouring out His mercy and grace upon our nation and I am extremely grateful. President Donald Trump initiated this gathering of prayer and praise to God, with the declaration that America is “One Nation Under God.” Government leaders, including members of his cabinet, faith leaders and others from around the nation shared testimonials of God’s goodness, prayed and/or read scripture. Intermittently, musicians from various genres performed songs that gave praise to God, while others exuded a spirit of patriotism. Christ-followers from various backgrounds and ethnicities agreed in prayer and in song to bless the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and to bless this great nation of America. What a wonderful monumental moment for our nation! I did not attend the event in D.C., but I was there in the spirit.³ I listened or watched the livestream for the entire event. It was scheduled to end at 6:00 PM, which would’ve made it 7 and a half hours long, but instead it went until 6:45 PM, which made it a bit over 8 hours long. Right at the 8-hour mark, while watching from my living room, the Spirit of God touched me and I fell prostrate on the floor and travailed. I immediately sensed it had to do with what God has been highlighting to me ever since April, when I attended the Spirit of America gathering in Boston, led by Jon and Jolene Hamill of Lamplighter Ministries… The number 8. The prophetic meaning of the number 8 is new beginnings. At that gathering, Chuck Pierce prophesied, “Awaken America to your new day,” and in the Hamill’s Declaration of Covenant Renewal it declares, “America born again.” I heard a similar message from Dutch Sheets at the Rededication: “We declare a new beginning for America in the mighty name of Jesus.” There were other quotes shared by faith leaders that I feel are worth mentioning and which I have taken to heart. Jason Hershey, founder of David’s Tent, stated that this day was a Kairos Moment for America.⁴ Sean Feucht of Let Us Worship stated following the event, “Never in my life would I have imagined a sitting United States President reading the prayer we’ve all prayed so many times over America.”⁵ Sean was referring to the video recording of President Trump who read the following words, “If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14 NASB). I too felt this very significant for our country, when it was first aired during the America Reads the Bible marathon⁶ weeks earlier. Faith leader Lou Engle stated, “When the President of the United States opened the Bible to read ‘If My people will humble themselves and pray,’ a door swung open in the heavens… The President opened the door for the greatest awakening America has ever seen!”⁷ I’d like to point out another statement Lou made that has been highlighted in my spirit, “This is the Jubilee of America.” The term Jubilee comes from God and one can learn about it in the book Leviticus, chapter 25. In verse 10 it reads, “So you shall consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim a release throughout the land to all its inhabitants.” The latter part of the verse is engraved on The Liberty Bell and God has been bringing the Bell and its Biblical verse to my mind for many weeks. The Jubilee year was a reset time. Fields were left fallow to allow the soil to regenerate, debts were cancelled, slaves were released, and land lost due to debt was restored to its original owners. The definition of reset is “to set again or anew, such as to put back into an original place or position.”⁸ I believe that America is in such a moment… a season of Jubilee… a season of RESET. Alleluia! Thank you Lord! Thank you for responding to the humble prayers of Your remnant bride! There were 3 pillars which were the focus for the days’ speakers and performers. I feel that it is worth mentioning, as each one points to God in a spirit of gratitude— to all that He has done and is doing in our nation. Finally, the day ended with a prayer for the rededication our nation to God, led by Speaker Mike Johnson. THREE PILLARS Pillar I — The Miracles that Made Us: A reflection on God’s providence throughout 250 years, honoring the faith that inspired America’s founders and has carried us forward in every generation since. Pillar II — The Miracles Still in Our Midst: Personal testimonies of God’s healing in our lives and in our land. Pillar III — A New Birth of Faith and Freedom: A collective expression of gratitude for 250 years of freedom — and a unified moment of rededication asking for God’s blessing, guidance, and grace for the next 250. Instead, he sets it on a stand, so those who enter can see the light.” Luke 11:33 Yesterday, following my second prayer gathering on the National Day of Prayer, I sat on a wall that surrounds the Capitol to eat my lunch. A transient man came walking by and stopped to talk to me. He immediately reached out his hand to me while introducing himself, so I shook his hand. Sam was loud, rambunctious and either under the influence or has a mental illness, or both. It was a bit stressful for me, not knowing if he was going to try to steal my purse or be violent with me. In the 15 to 20 minutes that he spoke, his words were incoherent, except for the moment when he said to me, “You are so bright I can’t even look at your face.” Immediately, I thought of the Israelites who said a similar thing to Moses after Moses had spent time with God on Mount Sinai. “So when Aaron and all the sons of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to approach him” (Exodus 34:30). Moses decided to wear a veil over his face whenever he spoke with them, but would remove it when he spoke with God. The apostle Paul mentioned this account with in the book of 2nd Corinthians and adds, “But we all, with unveiled faces, looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18). A bit later, while still speaking with Sam, he began calling me “the sun.” I didn’t understand the meaning behind this nickname, until he said “the sun is blinding.” I came to understand that Sam’s demons were being blinded by the light of Christ that I carry within me—a light that was only a reflection from spending hours in prayer with Him that morning. The light that I carried overcame the darkness that Sam carried. In the book of John we read, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). May we Christ-followers be bright as the Son!! May we shine the light of Christ for all the world to see and dispel the darkness wherever we go. Join me in praying for Sam‘s salvation, healing and wholeness in Christ Jesus. Jesus shed His blood for him! “Those who are wise will shine radiantly as the sky at midday. Hope you enjoy it!  Photo Credit: Family Tree by Holly Otten Roots, Shoots and Fruits On Friday, April 17th, I was driving locally during a huge thunderstorm. When I pulled into a parking lot, I noticed a white floral tree that had just been hit by lightning, causing half of the tree to lie on the ground, still slightly attached by a thin layer of bark. The other half appeared upright and beautiful. God used this image as a prophetic picture of what He is currently doing in the spiritual realm. He is releasing His wrath on Freemasonry and the spirits that travel with it and is breaking off its curses in people’s family trees. God led me to Psalm 29:3-9 “The God of glory thunders…the voice of the LORD breaks the cedars…The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare.” Later that day I went on a prayer walk in my neighborhood and God pointed out to me another tree, actually it was a tree that had been cut down leaving a 2-foot-tall stump. This tree stump interestingly had a new 7-foot-tall tree growing up from it. God led me to Matthew 7:19 in which Jesus states, “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” I believe that God is saying that He is tearing down the family trees that are bearing fruit for Satan’s kingdom and in its place, He is causing godly trees to grow and bear fruit for the Kingdom of God. In the book of Isaiah we read about God cutting down trees but leaving the stump so that there can be new growth. “The country will look like pine and oak forest with every tree cut down. Every tree a stump, a huge field of stumps. But there’s a holy seed in those stumps (Isaiah 6:13 MSG). It would be the end of our generational bloodline, and there would be no chance for us to produce fruit for God’s Kingdom. It is because of this and because He is merciful that He allows there to be a stump. Out of the stump will grow a new shoot, one that is holy and bears good fruit. In Isaiah 11:1, we read, “A shoot will spring up from the stump of Jesse.” This is God’s desire that His followers produce fruit for His Kingdom. He desires that our children and their children, and so on, live pure and holy lives; that we live to serve God and release His Kingdom on earth. In the book of Proverbs we read, “But the root of the righteous yields fruit” (Proverbs 12:12). Unfortunately, where there is generational Freemasonry in our bloodlines, the enemy is stealing God’s fruit and producing fruit for Satan’s kingdom. Intercessors must be made aware of this, then rise up and pray for their generations.  Photo Credit: New Shoots by Holly Otten Spirit of America, Lamplighter Ministries One of the reasons why God was speaking to me about Freemasonry through the prophetic images of the trees is because He was about to bring several victories in the following 2 days which would be the answer to prayers that have been prayed for months, and even years, prior. The first victory was concerning America and the cleansing of “her” roots which became defiled when Freemasonry came into this country from England in 1733. The first Freemason lodge in the United States commenced in Boston, Massachusetts, a city known as the “Cradle of Liberty.” Many of the founding forefathers in the first colonies deviated from the faith when they chose to be members of Freemasonry. Their actions brought defilement upon our nation; their sins released curses not only on their generations, but also on the land of America. Jon and Jolene Hamill of Lamplighter Ministries¹ have been carrying the burden of the Lord to lead in prayer gatherings around the nation for years so to pray in atonement for the sins of our forefathers and ask God to cleanse the land from the defilements of Freemasonry and to release blessings in exchange. This burden led them to host a gathering entitled “Spirit of America” on Saturday, April 18th at Faneuil Hall in Boston, on the anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride.² My friend Joy³ and I were called by God to join this gathering of intercessors which included several prophets such as Chuck Pierce, Ed Watts and Chris Mitchell. The most significant part of the gathering was when Jon invited us to join him in a powerful prayer entitled, Declaration of Covenant Renewal.³ We beseeched God to forgive the sins of pastors and leaders amongst the early settlers who chose Freemasonry, and thereby committed the sin of idolatry which brought curses on our nation. The actual document which was distributed to those present does not use the term Freemasonry, but the leaders did explain in person that the nature of the sin was rooted in Freemasonry. Here is an excerpt of the declaration: “So as of 4-18 (April 18th), the anniversary of America’s Exodus from tyranny, in this sacred Cradle of Liberty, we again appeal to the Supreme Judge of the Universe concerning the rectitude of our intentions. Please remove our reproach. Grant our request that the United States be rededicated immediately, from the covenant root to all branches, to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ alone. A new birth of freedom. America born again!” Following the gathering, Joy and I spent the night in Boston. On Sunday the 19th, Joy and I received a victory regarding our family trees. We had prayed for the deliverance of our husbands’ mothers’ bloodlines from Freemasonry witchcraft and its curses for 6 months. During these months of intercession we came to see all the ways in which this spirit influenced not only our husbands, but also our marriages, our children, our ministry and everything that concerns us. Following breakfast, Joy and I sat down to pray and worship. During this time, I went into a deep travail. We sensed that we were warring for the deliverance of our husbands’ bloodlines. There were several things that we heard from the Lord that revealed this. During our worship, I heard the following lyrics, “Your goodness and mercy all through my history.” I then kept seeing in my mind’s eye the Liberty Bell. We were also reminded of a prophetic word given the day before by a prophet, that there was a spirit of double Elijah. By the end of our intercession which lasted about 2 hours, we knew that we had received a double deliverance! We left Boston filled with joy and laughter because of all that God had done that weekend. On the way home from Boston, I took a detour to take pictures of the 2 trees that I saw on Friday. When I arrived at the tree struck by lightning, the broken branch was no longer attached to the tree trunk; it was completely broken off. I felt that this was a confirmation from God that He broke off Freemasonry witchcraft from our husbands’ bloodlines! I also believe God broke curses off our nation through Saturday’s intercession at Faneuil Hall.  Photo Credit: God's Voice by Holly Otten God Shares His Burden With Me I first became aware of the evils within Freemasonry in 2014, during a workshop that I facilitated for the healing of survivors of sexual abuse. One of the participants was a victim of child ritual sexual abuse for 7 years within Freemasonry. Her father, a Mason, brought her to his lodge where he and his “brothers” engaged in their wicked rituals. This is not an isolated event; it is actually common; more so in the higher degrees of Freemasonry. What I’ve learned over the years from ministering to victims of childhood sexual abuse is that many were victims of incest, and the root is generational Freemasonry in 1 or both bloodlines. Incest is one of the curses released from Freemasonry and I believe that it is because of the common practice of ritual sexual abuse, as well as the wicked covenants made by masons that are opposed to God’s laws. Many survivors I’ve met were not victims of ritual sexual abuse within Freemasonry, but the curse of incest followed their bloodline and entered in generations before; some 7, 10, or 12 generations back. These survivors became victims of incest by family members— fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers. God has made it clear to me; the root of the incest is Freemasonry. Since 2014 I have had the burden to pray and minister healing to adult survivors and to pray for deliverance of generational Freemasonry in people’s bloodlines. In 2018 God called me to hold nightwatches throughout various states in America. When I facilitated a nightwatch in Philadelphia, PA I became aware of a large Masonic Temple built in 1868 which serves as the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. When preparing my prayer points for the evening, God placed it on my heart to pray for the healing of the children of incest by Freemasonry members. In addition, God gave me a 2nd assignment which entailed taking a team to the Liberty Bell the morning following the nightwatch, and He told me to declare aloud the words engraved on the Bell which are from Leviticus 25:10, “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.” Following the declaration, He led me to blow the shofar and with that, the power of God fell on me! I was on my knees weeping and then following, I was filled with holy laughter. God’s Word says, “When the Lord brought back the captives from Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting” (Psalm 126:1-2).  Photo Credit: Liberty Bell, September 2018 by Holly Otten Restoration for America Today, 8 years later, while travailing on my face in Faneuil Hall, during the time when Jon was speaking of the sins of our forefathers, God brought to my mind like a flash the moment when I was at the Liberty Bell. It was like I was there again, at that place, at that time. God was reminding me of the prayers that went up for America at the Philadelphia nightwatch—8 hours of non-stop prayer and worship; prayers for the captives of Freemasonry and the declaration of liberty to the “inhabitants thereof.” I believe that the prayers from 2018 and the prayers that went up that day in Faneuil Hall brought the victory for America. Curses related to Freemasonry were broken off our land, which will now usher in blessings, including healing for our land and victims of sexual abuse and incest. Just earlier that day at the start of the gathering, Chuck Pierce proclaimed, “This is a God-ordained moment. Those who are here today were ordained to be here…What we are doing here today will initiate an overcoming of the enemy in America for the next 18 months…The root system in America is coming alive again…Awaken America to your new day.” We also heard from Ed Watts who declared, “God is raising up watchmen that are going to open the unsealed scrolls of our bloodlines and regions.” In addition, he declared the Word of God, “They will rebuild the ancient ruins; they will raise up the former devastations; they will repair the ruined cities; the desolations of many generations” (Isaiah 61:4). I believe this word of restoration is what was meant by the prophet’s word at the start of the gathering of “double Elijah anointing.” Jesus Himself makes this connection when He said, “Elijah is coming and will restore all things” (Matthew 17:11). Let the restoration come forth over America! Let the blessings come forth. Let the healing come forth. I decree over America, “All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new” (2 Corinthians 5:17b TPT).⁵ Why is Freemasonry Bad? I do not profess to be an expert on the topic of Freemasonry, but as an intercessor and minister of inner healing, God has chosen to reveal to me generational Freemasonry on many occasions. Not only has this spirit stolen, killed and destroyed in my own family tree, but it has done the same in the lives of people whom I care about and whom God cares about. God reveals wicked spirits to me so that I can intercede or war against them so to stop them from stealing fruit from the Kingdom of God, including salvations of family members, in present and future generations. The late Charles Finney, known as The Father of Modern Revivalism, was a Freemason for 4 years until his conversion to Christianity. At that time, he came to see that the principles within the secret society were in direct conflict with the doctrines of Christianity. He felt it was his Christian duty to raise awareness to this fact and this led him to write a book on the subject. Following are some quotes from his book: “I could have no fellowship with any of the proceedings of the lodge; its oaths appeared to me to be monstrously profane and barbarous… My new life instinctively and irresistibly recoiled from any fellowship with what I then regarded as ‘the unfruitful works of darkness’… It has become more and more irresistibly plain to my convictions that the institution is highly dangerous to the State and in every way injurious to the Church of Christ.”⁶ When men join Freemasonry, a “society of secrets,” they sin against God and bring curses on their generations that follow. Very plainly, Freemasonry is an idol religion. This is made clear in the 32nd degree which acknowledges and offers worship to a person called, “Jah Bul On.” This term is a combination of Jah (Yahweh/Hebrew), Baal (Babylonian god), Osiris (Egyptian god). The latter 2 are idol deities that are opposed to God. When men make a covenant with Freemasonry, they make a covenant with these idol deities. In addition, those in the “brotherhood” covenant with one another and vow to put each other first, above all others, including God. This is a form of idolatry. And because of this vow, they will lie to anyone and everyone in order to protect their “brothers,” even when it entails illegal activities. In fact, historically, there is evidence of criminal activity related to Freemasons. Unfortunately, many of Masons’ crimes are never exposed because of their vow to stand with and protect one another. I’d also like to point out that Masons are forced to keep secrets from their wives and families. Speaking of family members, women are now able to join 100% female-only Grand Lodges or co-Masonic (mixed) lodges and children can join Masonic youth programs such as DeMolay, Rainbow, and Job’s Daughters, among a few. Another offense to God’s laws are the rites and vows in which members are asked to profess, which include pronouncing curses on themselves if they disclose the secrets, such as having their tongues cut out and their right arms cut off. These curses follow the bloodlines and manifest in health afflictions. As Christ-followers, we need to co-labor with God to break off the curses in our bloodlines and release blessings in exchange. I encourage you to ask God if there is Freemasonry in your bloodlines. If you ask an older family member they may not have knowledge of it, especially if it entered many generations before, so you must seek God for this information. Remember Jesus’ words: “Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find” (Matthew 7:7). If you have present knowledge of Freemasonry in your bloodline or God reveals it to you, ask Him which bloodline─father’s or mother’s─and how many generations back it entered. The longer it’s been in the family tree, the deeper the roots, and thus, it will most likely take more time and intercession to break its hold. But you will have the victory in Jesus’ name, and your children and their children, and so on, will no longer be influenced by Freemasonry and its curses. Do not stop interceding until you have heard from God that you've won the victory and sought Him for confirmation. You may want to incorporate fasting and/or ask a trusted intercessor to pray with or for you. Below is a prayer that I’ve written based on the Word. I have seen the fruit of this prayer when prayed over my family tree and also friends’ family trees. Postscripts 1. One day during the middle of mass, 5 young hippies came through the door. Fr. Randall invited this group to meet with him and several other staff that night. Of the group, one of them had been in jail, another had been a drug dealer, and others had been on drugs and alcohol. But they all got struck by the Holy Spirit in The Jesus Movement in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The leader of the group was Terry Martin, a 19-year-old college student at Salve Regina College, located in Newport, RI. One day the Lord spoke to her. He said, “I am going to start moving in RI this year—southern RI, western RI and in Providence.” Terry and her group spoke of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and this put a desperation in Fr Randall to also be filled with the Holy Spirit. Fr Randall became on fire and soon after was sent by the bishop to see if he could revive Holy Ghost Church on Federal Hill in Providence. Revival broke out. The almost empty church became filled with people on fire for God, and included multitudes of college students, priests from local churches and seminaries and nuns from local convents. They witnessed miracles, signs and wonders regularly and did street evangelism in the darkest and dirtiest parts of the city. A couple named Don and Pat Turbitt started attending Holy Ghost Church. Their zeal for God led them to birth the People of God’s Love community where they fostered Holy Spirit-filled communal living in Providence. They had a house for men, a house for women and houses for families who lived together, prayed daily at 5am and shared life, just like the first church in the book of Acts. Fr Ray Kelly came to Holy Ghost Church and got on fire too. The bishop sent Fr Kelly to revive St. Patrick’s Church in Providence and revival broke out. He helped start a weekly soup kitchen and a tuition free grade school, where on-fire teachers worked for free. I taught there in my late 20’s. The school still exists today. The bishop sent Fr Randall to the dying St. Charles Borromeo Church in a neighborhood in Providence where there were crack houses and brothels lining the street; shots were heard in the evenings. Revival broke out in this church as well with standing room only; with people driving over an hour to attend. At age 22 I began attending St. Charles and got baptized with the Holy Spirit. Our masses lasted an hour and a half, with 30 minutes of worship, and included speaking and singing in tongues. Our weekly prayer meetings had an average of 300 people. It was commonplace to see people get healed, delivered and slain in the Spirit. Fr Randall opened a weekly soup kitchen which still exists today; also a food pantry and clothing center. He also opened a medical clinic offering free health care and licensed counseling. He had a weekly radio show entitled “The Spirit and the Word.” He also built a chapel connected to the church to host a 24/7 prayer room. It continues to this day. Fr Randall became a global leader in the Catholic Charismatic renewal. He received invitations from various denominations around the globe who were seeking revival. He wrote 8 books and my favorite is entitled “No Spirit No Church.” In 1978 the fires were still hot in RI. There was a conference at the Providence Civic Center entitled the “New England Catholic Charismatic Conference” where 14,000 people attended. This blog post is dedicated to Father John Randall. I attended St. Charles Borromeo Church under Fr. Randall's leadership, during which time I learned an exponential amount of what it meant to live a life of surrender to God and His will, and about walking in sync with the Holy Spirit. Through my 20's and 30's, Fr. Randall was like a father to me. He was an instrument of the Father's love toward me. He encouraged me, admonished me when needed, and believed in me even though I was at a young age. He encouraged me in whatever endeavor I felt God was leading me on. He knew I could do great things because I had the Holy Spirit empowering me. He cheered me on...when I did street evangelism in the crime infested neighborhood of the church...stood on the sidewalk of Planned Parenthood to talk women out of having abortions...served in the weekly soup kitchen...taught first graders in Sunday School...locked myself into an E lock with 4 others and blocked the door of Planned Parenthood on Christmas Eve...left my city apartment and cat to live in the country as a housemother to unwed pregnant moms. I wouldn't have done any of it if it weren't for Fr. Randall! Three happy memories I have of him are at my college graduation party, the day he officiated my wedding and the day he baptized my son Michael.
