An Intercessory Ministry

Marko Verch via Flickr cc "But you've saved the best till now!" John 2:10 MSGI just finished Mario Murillo's book entitled "Vessels of Fire and Glory." The very last words of the book stood out to me... "What if the best churches haven't even been planted yet? What if the greatest sermons are yet to be preached? What if the best inventions, books, songs, and miracles are yet to come? I wouldn't doubt it. God always saves the best for last." GOD ALWAYS SAVES THE BEST FOR LAST. This statement took me back in my memory of a night in which I had a divine encounter with our Bridegroom, Jesus. It was July 19th, 2017, when I was cleaning up the dinner dishes in my kitchen. I was listening to a YouTube video of Graham Cooke entitled "To My Beloved." As soon as I heard the first line, I fell to my kitchen floor and was filled with holy laughter. For 3 and a half hours I was stuck to my kitchen floor. I felt that I was being wooed by the love of my Bridegroom. My family had all gone off to bed, but not until they placed a pillow under my head and a blanket over my body. Eventually, I got up to walk to my bedroom, feeling and walking like I drank a whole bottle of wine. I crawled into my bed, still laughing, intoxicated by the love of my Jesus. At 3:00 a.m. I suddenly woke up out of a dead sleep. My thoughts went to the dream I just had. I saw many people sitting at a banquet table. They were eating and drinking. I heard someone say "New wine is being served. The best wine was saved for last." I immediately thought of the Wedding at Cana, spoken of in John 2. Verse 10 says "But you've saved the best till now!" My thoughts then went to the words I just heard the day before while at a gathering of New England leaders, held by evangelist Tommie Zito of American Awakening. In the crowd of about 100 leaders, a man stood up, a mouthpiece of the Lord and these words came booming out. "I am the great I AM!...Mark this day!...New wine skins! You can't put new wine in old wine skins!" I went to this meeting held at the Sheraton Hotel in Warwick, RI to pray and intercede for the week-long evangelistic crusade being planned for June of 2018. On the day of this gathering, I heard God say "I am awakening my Bride with a kiss." Just as the Bridegroom overwhelmed me with His love while I laid on my kitchen floor...just as I, a bride of Christ, was woken up from a dead sleep...to a wedding banquet like the one in Cana, where He poured out His love to a bride and groom in desperate need of a miracle...Jesus is going to do it again! For His Bride−the Bride of Christ. And He has saved His best wine for last! "He has brought me to his banquet hall, and his banner over me is love." Song of Solomon 2:4 NASB Prayer for America Based on Song of Solomon 1:2-4 Written by Holly Otten King Jesus, Woo Your Bride−America “Let Him kiss me with kisses of His mouth.” v. 2
Kiss Your sleeping Bride America awake. "More delightful is Your love than wine.” v. 2 Let us drink of Your love, which is better than any other worldly thing. “Your name (JESUS) spoken is a spreading perfume. That is why Your maidens love you.” v. 3 Spread Your fragrance across America. “Draw me!” v. 4 Draw America to Yourself with Your love. “We will follow you eagerly!” v. 4 America will follow You because You are love. “Bring me, O King, to Your chambers.” v. 4 King Jesus, lead America into the secret place; the place of deep intimacy with You. “With You we (America) rejoice and exult; we (America) extol Your love. It is beyond wine. How rightly you are loved.” v. 4 How rightly You are loved O King Jesus, our Bridegroom. |
