When I pulled into a parking lot, I noticed a white floral tree that had just been hit by lightning, causing half of the tree to lie on the ground, still slightly attached by a thin layer of bark. The other half appeared upright and beautiful. God used this image as a prophetic picture of what He is currently doing in the spiritual realm. He is releasing His wrath on Freemasonry and the spirits that travel with it and is breaking off its curses in people’s family trees. God led me to Psalm 29:3-9 “The God of glory thunders…the voice of the LORD breaks the cedars…The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare.” Later that day I went on a prayer walk in my neighborhood and God pointed out to me another tree, actually it was a tree that had been cut down leaving a 2-foot-tall stump. This tree stump interestingly had a new 7-foot-tall tree growing up from it. God led me to Matthew 7:19 in which Jesus states, “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” I believe that God is saying that He is tearing down the family trees that are bearing fruit for Satan’s kingdom and in its place, He is causing godly trees to grow and bear fruit for the Kingdom of God. In the book of Isaiah we read about God cutting down trees but leaving the stump so that there can be new growth. “The country will look like pine and oak forest with every tree cut down. Every tree a stump, a huge field of stumps. But there’s a holy seed in those stumps (Isaiah 6:13 MSG). It would be the end of our generational bloodline, and there would be no chance for us to produce fruit for God’s Kingdom. It is because of this and because He is merciful that He allows there to be a stump. Out of the stump will grow a new shoot, one that is holy and bears good fruit. In Isaiah 11:1, we read, “A shoot will spring up from the stump of Jesse.” This is God’s desire that His followers produce fruit for His Kingdom. He desires that our children and their children, and so on, live pure and holy lives; that we live to serve God and release His Kingdom on earth. In the book of Proverbs we read, “But the root of the righteous yields fruit” (Proverbs 12:12). Unfortunately, where there is generational Freemasonry in our bloodlines, the enemy is stealing God’s fruit and producing fruit for Satan’s kingdom. Intercessors must be made aware of this, then rise up and pray for their generations.  Photo Credit: New Shoots by Holly Otten Spirit of America, Lamplighter Ministries One of the reasons why God was speaking to me about Freemasonry through the prophetic images of the trees is because He was about to bring several victories in the following 2 days which would be the answer to prayers that have been prayed for months, and even years, prior. The first victory was concerning America and the cleansing of “her” roots which became defiled when Freemasonry came into this country from England in 1733. The first Freemason lodge in the United States commenced in Boston, Massachusetts, a city known as the “Cradle of Liberty.” Many of the founding forefathers in the first colonies deviated from the faith when they chose to be members of Freemasonry. Their actions brought defilement upon our nation; their sins released curses not only on their generations, but also on the land of America. Jon and Jolene Hamill of Lamplighter Ministries¹ have been carrying the burden of the Lord to lead in prayer gatherings around the nation for years so to pray in atonement for the sins of our forefathers and ask God to cleanse the land from the defilements of Freemasonry and to release blessings in exchange. This burden led them to host a gathering entitled “Spirit of America” on Saturday, April 18th at Faneuil Hall in Boston, on the anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride.² My friend Joy³ and I were called by God to join this gathering of intercessors which included several prophets such as Chuck Pierce, Ed Watts and Chris Mitchell. The most significant part of the gathering was when Jon invited us to join him in a powerful prayer entitled, Declaration of Covenant Renewal.³ We beseeched God to forgive the sins of pastors and leaders amongst the early settlers who chose Freemasonry, and thereby committed the sin of idolatry which brought curses on our nation. The actual document which was distributed to those present does not use the term Freemasonry, but the leaders did explain in person that the nature of the sin was rooted in Freemasonry. Here is an excerpt of the declaration: “So as of 4-18 (April 18th), the anniversary of America’s Exodus from tyranny, in this sacred Cradle of Liberty, we again appeal to the Supreme Judge of the Universe concerning the rectitude of our intentions. Please remove our reproach. Grant our request that the United States be rededicated immediately, from the covenant root to all branches, to the God of our Lord Jesus Christ alone. A new birth of freedom. America born again!” Following the gathering, Joy and I spent the night in Boston. On Sunday the 19th, Joy and I received a victory regarding our family trees. We had prayed for the deliverance of our husbands’ mothers’ bloodlines from Freemasonry witchcraft and its curses for 6 months. During these months of intercession we came to see all the ways in which this spirit influenced not only our husbands, but also our marriages, our children, our ministry and everything that concerns us. Following breakfast, Joy and I sat down to pray and worship. During this time, I went into a deep travail. We sensed that we were warring for the deliverance of our husbands’ bloodlines. There were several things that we heard from the Lord that revealed this. During our worship, I heard the following lyrics, “Your goodness and mercy all through my history.” I then kept seeing in my mind’s eye the Liberty Bell. We were also reminded of a prophetic word given the day before by a prophet, that there was a spirit of double Elijah. By the end of our intercession which lasted about 2 hours, we knew that we had received a double deliverance! We left Boston filled with joy and laughter because of all that God had done that weekend. On the way home from Boston, I took a detour to take pictures of the 2 trees that I saw on Friday. When I arrived at the tree struck by lightning, the broken branch was no longer attached to the tree trunk; it was completely broken off. I felt that this was a confirmation from God that He broke off Freemasonry witchcraft from our husbands’ bloodlines! I also believe God broke curses off our nation through Saturday’s intercession at Faneuil Hall.  Photo Credit: God's Voice by Holly Otten God Shares His Burden With Me I first became aware of the evils within Freemasonry in 2014, during a workshop that I facilitated for the healing of survivors of sexual abuse. One of the participants was a victim of child ritual sexual abuse for 7 years within Freemasonry. Her father, a Mason, brought her to his lodge where he and his “brothers” engaged in their wicked rituals. This is not an isolated event; it is actually common; more so in the higher degrees of Freemasonry. What I’ve learned over the years from ministering to victims of childhood sexual abuse is that many were victims of incest, and the root is generational Freemasonry in 1 or both bloodlines. Incest is one of the curses released from Freemasonry and I believe that it is because of the common practice of ritual sexual abuse, as well as the wicked covenants made by masons that are opposed to God’s laws. Many survivors I’ve met were not victims of ritual sexual abuse within Freemasonry, but the curse of incest followed their bloodline and entered in generations before; some 7, 10, or 12 generations back. These survivors became victims of incest by family members— fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers. God has made it clear to me; the root of the incest is Freemasonry. Since 2014 I have had the burden to pray and minister healing to adult survivors and to pray for deliverance of generational Freemasonry in people’s bloodlines. In 2018 God called me to hold nightwatches throughout various states in America. When I facilitated a nightwatch in Philadelphia, PA I became aware of a large Masonic Temple built in 1868 which serves as the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. When preparing my prayer points for the evening, God placed it on my heart to pray for the healing of the children of incest by Freemasonry members. In addition, God gave me a 2nd assignment which entailed taking a team to the Liberty Bell the morning following the nightwatch, and He told me to declare aloud the words engraved on the Bell which are from Leviticus 25:10, “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.” Following the declaration, He led me to blow the shofar and with that, the power of God fell on me! I was on my knees weeping and then following, I was filled with holy laughter. God’s Word says, “When the Lord brought back the captives from Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with joyful shouting” (Psalm 126:1-2).  Photo Credit: Liberty Bell, September 2018 by Holly Otten Restoration for America Today, 8 years later, while travailing on my face in Faneuil Hall, during the time when Jon was speaking of the sins of our forefathers, God brought to my mind like a flash the moment when I was at the Liberty Bell. It was like I was there again, at that place, at that time. God was reminding me of the prayers that went up for America at the Philadelphia nightwatch—8 hours of non-stop prayer and worship; prayers for the captives of Freemasonry and the declaration of liberty to the “inhabitants thereof.” I believe that the prayers from 2018 and the prayers that went up that day in Faneuil Hall brought the victory for America. Curses related to Freemasonry were broken off our land, which will now usher in blessings, including healing for our land and victims of sexual abuse and incest. Just earlier that day at the start of the gathering, Chuck Pierce proclaimed, “This is a God-ordained moment. Those who are here today were ordained to be here…What we are doing here today will initiate an overcoming of the enemy in America for the next 18 months…The root system in America is coming alive again…Awaken America to your new day.” We also heard from Ed Watts who declared, “God is raising up watchmen that are going to open the unsealed scrolls of our bloodlines and regions.” In addition, he declared the Word of God, “They will rebuild the ancient ruins; they will raise up the former devastations; they will repair the ruined cities; the desolations of many generations” (Isaiah 61:4). I believe this word of restoration is what was meant by the prophet’s word at the start of the gathering of “double Elijah anointing.” Jesus Himself makes this connection when He said, “Elijah is coming and will restore all things” (Matthew 17:11). Let the restoration come forth over America! Let the blessings come forth. Let the healing come forth. I decree over America, “All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new” (2 Corinthians 5:17b TPT).⁵ Why is Freemasonry Bad? I do not profess to be an expert on the topic of Freemasonry, but as an intercessor and minister of inner healing, God has chosen to reveal to me generational Freemasonry on many occasions. Not only has this spirit stolen, killed and destroyed in my own family tree, but it has done the same in the lives of people whom I care about and whom God cares about. God reveals wicked spirits to me so that I can intercede or war against them so to stop them from stealing fruit from the Kingdom of God, including salvations of family members, in present and future generations. The late Charles Finney, known as The Father of Modern Revivalism, was a Freemason for 4 years until his conversion to Christianity. At that time, he came to see that the principles within the secret society were in direct conflict with the doctrines of Christianity. He felt it was his Christian duty to raise awareness to this fact and this led him to write a book on the subject. Following are some quotes from his book: “I could have no fellowship with any of the proceedings of the lodge; its oaths appeared to me to be monstrously profane and barbarous… My new life instinctively and irresistibly recoiled from any fellowship with what I then regarded as ‘the unfruitful works of darkness’… It has become more and more irresistibly plain to my convictions that the institution is highly dangerous to the State and in every way injurious to the Church of Christ.”⁶ When men join Freemasonry, a “society of secrets,” they sin against God and bring curses on their generations that follow. Very plainly, Freemasonry is an idol religion. This is made clear in the 32nd degree which acknowledges and offers worship to a person called, “Jah Bul On.” This term is a combination of Jah (Yahweh/Hebrew), Baal (Babylonian god), Osiris (Egyptian god). The latter 2 are idol deities that are opposed to God. When men make a covenant with Freemasonry, they make a covenant with these idol deities. In addition, those in the “brotherhood” covenant with one another and vow to put each other first, above all others, including God. This is a form of idolatry. And because of this vow, they will lie to anyone and everyone in order to protect their “brothers,” even when it entails illegal activities. In fact, historically, there is evidence of criminal activity related to Freemasons. Unfortunately, many of Masons’ crimes are never exposed because of their vow to stand with and protect one another. I’d also like to point out that Masons are forced to keep secrets from their wives and families. Speaking of family members, women are now able to join 100% female-only Grand Lodges or co-Masonic (mixed) lodges and children can join Masonic youth programs such as DeMolay, Rainbow, and Job’s Daughters, among a few. Another offense to God’s laws are the rites and vows in which members are asked to profess, which include pronouncing curses on themselves if they disclose the secrets, such as having their tongues cut out and their right arms cut off. These curses follow the bloodlines and manifest in health afflictions. As Christ-followers, we need to co-labor with God to break off the curses in our bloodlines and release blessings in exchange. I encourage you to ask God if there is Freemasonry in your bloodlines. If you ask an older family member they may not have knowledge of it, especially if it entered many generations before, so you must seek God for this information. Remember Jesus’ words: “Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find” (Matthew 7:7). If you have present knowledge of Freemasonry in your bloodline or God reveals it to you, ask Him which bloodline─father’s or mother’s─and how many generations back it entered. The longer it’s been in the family tree, the deeper the roots, and thus, it will most likely take more time and intercession to break its hold. But you will have the victory in Jesus’ name, and your children and their children, and so on, will no longer be influenced by Freemasonry and its curses. Do not stop interceding until you have heard from God that you've won the victory and sought Him for confirmation. You may want to incorporate fasting and/or ask a trusted intercessor to pray with or for you. Below is a prayer that I’ve written based on the Word. I have seen the fruit of this prayer when prayed over my family tree and also friends’ family trees. Postscripts 1. Spirits that travel with Freemasonry: witchcraft, idolatry, curses, occultism, deception, bondage, control, third eye, mental confusion, spiritual apathy, emotional hardness, doubt, skepticism, unbelief, infirmities, sicknesses, allergies, destruction, financial ruin, false religion, antichrist, pride, Eastern Star.⁶ 2. I declare Freemasonry witchcraft and its curses are broken off of the _______ bloodline, and I ask You Lord to release blessings in exchange for thousands of years to come. Your Word says that You cancelled the certificate of debt, which was hostile to us, having nailed it to the cross. I now nail to the cross of Jesus Christ the spirit of Freemasonry witchcraft in the _______ bloodline and every curse released against me and my generations.* Jesus, when You died on the cross, You disarmed rulers and authorities, having made a public display of them. You triumphed over them and won the victory for me and my generations. I declare over my family tree in the ________ bloodline, there will no longer be root-bearing poisonous fruit. My family tree will bear fruit that is pure and holy; fruit that is for the Kingdom of God. Amen.
